Oudsema Advances To Fourth Round, McLeod Falls To Fourteen Seed in 16s Division

Kalamazoo's Scott Oudsema, seeded ninth in the Boys 16s, will be featured in a fourth round match at Stowe on Tuesday. His opponent is unseeded Joseph Atas of Baltimore MD. In their third round matches, Oudsema beat Maciek Sykut, Marathon FL, 7-6, 6-3. Atas was the survivor in a marathon contest on court six with Ricardo Gonzalez, Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, the eighteenth seed. Atas and Gonzalez were on court in the ninety degree heat for over three hours. Both required medical attention after the match, which Atas won by the scores of 6-7 (1), 6-4, 6-3.

In an earlier match played on court two, Juan Carlos Rebaza, Rockville MD beat Kalamazoo's Trevor McLeod 7-6 (4), 6-2. Rebaza is seeded fourteenth in the 16s division.
